IGE 121 Group Presentations
Plan, together with your project group, a collaborative class presentation with a written component documenting your research. The topic should be drawn from those suggested and given to you in the 5th week or create a topic based on the readings, themes, questions related to the course after you confer with one of the instructors. You will want to make use of our readings, locate relevant web sites, and investigate scholarly books from reputable publishers. The Class Presentation should be more than a report of your research. It should engage the class, contain art works, enactments, artifacts, music, video, and/or other complementary forms. The presentation should last about 15 min, not more than 20 min. Plan ways to actively engage the class in the presentation. Avoid reading notes from your web sites or other research sources. Each person should turn in an account of exactly what contributions she/he was responsible for. Each member of the group will evaluate other members in terms of the quality and quantity of their contributions.
