
After an impressive first season with the Broncos, Reed returns for her second year with the program. Is very athletic around the basket and a strong rebounder. Has improved tremendously since the beginning of last season. Is working on developing consistency from game to game.
FRESHMAN (2004-05): Had a strong first year with the Bronco program. Appeared in 28 games and started 23 times. Was fifth on the team in scoring and second in rebounding. Averaged 21.8 minutes, 6.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Had a season-high 16 points and nine rebounds at Cal State Monterey Bay ( 1-29-05 ). Also had 14 points against Cal State Stanislaus ( 2-18-05 ). Reached double figures in scoring nine times. Had a season-high 13 rebounds twice, at Sonoma State ( 2-5-05 ) and against Cal State Stanislaus ( 2-18-05 ). Had her first career double-double at Cal State Bakersfield ( 1-8-05 ), scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Also had a 14-point, 13-rebound double-double against Cal State Stanislaus ( 2-18-05 ).
AT DEER VALLEY HS: Was the Most Valuable Player on teams in all four years of high school. Was named the team's Best Offensive Player in 2002 and 2003 and earned first-team All-BVAL honors from 2002 – 2004. Also ran track in high school.
PERSONAL : Daughter of Pamela Reed. Majoring in engineering. Enjoys reading, listening to music and sleeping. Lists finding out she had set the record for most rebounds at her high school and in the section as her most exciting experience in sports.
