
A Division I transfer from Long Beach State , Blevins joins the Cal Poly Pomona program for one season. Has excellent basketball skills and should be one of the team's top newcomers. Has the ability to play all positions on the court and will be expected to defend guards as well as post players.
AT LONG BEACH STATE : Appeared in seven games for the 49ers last season and played a total of 21 minutes. Averaged 2.3 points and 0.6 rebounds per game. Made seven of her 12 field-goal attempts. Appeared in 15 games off the bench in 2003-04 and averaged 1.3 points per game. Grabbed 10 rebounds. Had a season-high eight points against UC Santa Barbara. Played in 12 games and started once in 2002-03. Averaged 7.1 minutes and 1.9 points per game.
AT RIVERDALE HS : Earned the Coaches Award, the award for Most Assists and was the team's Co-Most Valuable Player. Named first-team All-County in 2001 and '02. Lettered four years for the No. 1-ranked high school program in Georgia . Also competed in soccer and tennis in high school.
PERSONAL : Daughter of Diane May. Majoring in communications. Enjoys collecting shoes and going shopping. Lists winning a basketball championship in seventh grade as her most exciting experience in sports.
