After one year at Division I Southern Utah, Smith joins the Cal Poly Pomona program. Is multi-skilled on both ends of the floor. Is able to hit perimeter shots as well as score points close to the basket. Should be a major contributor.
AT SOUTHERN UTAH UNIVERSITY : Appeared in 28 games and averaged 17 minutes per game. Scored 4.3 points per game, which was sixth on the team. Also averaged 2.8 rebounds per game.
AT PASCO HS : Was a four-year letter winner in basketball and soccer. Helped lead team to district and regional championships and a fourth-place finish in state. Was the Most Valuable Player of the Big-Nine Conference and the All-State game and All-Area game Most Valuable Player. Also earned All-State honorable mention. Averaged 14.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. Also competed in soccer, track and field and tennis. Was on the honor roll all four years.
PERSONAL : Daughter of Pat Wright. Majoring in zoology. Enjoys soccer, listening to music, reading, hanging out with friends, running and biking. Lists the 2004 regional game vs. Kennewick , in her last home game, when she had 31 points, 11 rebounds, five steals and two blocks as her most exciting experience in sports.
