The California State University (CSU) designates major programs as impacted when more applications are received in the initial filing period from CSU eligible applicants than can be accommodated by the campus.

Cal Poly Pomona's only impacted major is Architecture.

• applications must be filed by November 30 for the Fall Quarter of the following year (postmark by Nov. 30 will be accepted)

• applicants will be subject to supplementary admission criteria

• eligible California veterans receive admission priority

The CSU will announce during the fall filing period those programs that are impacted and the supplementary criteria campuses will use.  That announcement will be published in the CSU Review, which is distributed to high school and college counselors. Information about the supplementary criteria is also sent to program applicants.
