Presently working in Verizon Central Offices and customer premises installing various types of equipment to include but not limited to: Northern Telecom Optera Metro 5200, 3000 series and Connect DX. Fujitsu Flashwave 4000 Series and various fiber optic systems are in my daily job assignments, including cable running/splicing throughout the central office.
Supervisor
Supervised and trained 20+ employees in their job skills and daily duties. Ensured the even distribution of all message traffic. Accountable for the inventory of classified material, publications and the maintenance of over one million dollars worth of telecommunications equipment. Strong ability to work with diverse cultures. System Operator
Monitored and installed telephone lines, digital and fiber optic cables. Operated and maintained digital switchboard with a 30 line capability. Received 40+ classified messages daily and disseminated to appropriate personnel. Knowledgeable of basic radio procedures. Received “Meritorious Mast” for exceptional duties.
